Verity Bullough

 Verity Bullough
Verity grew up in Hertfordshire and went to a local comprehensive. Since gaining a law degree from New College, Oxford in 1988, she has pursued a career in education. Her first job was with the City and Guilds of London Institute, where she wrote welding exams and developed National Vocational Qualifications.

Verity joined the TEC (Training and Enterprise Council) movement in 1992, before joining North London TEC (NLTEC) as Senior Education Adviser in 1995. She was NLTEC’s Director of Strategy before her appointment as Executive Director of the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) London North in September 2000. She held a number of senior positions within the LSC, creating the role of National Director of Funding, Planning and Performance in 2008.

Returning from maternity leave in 2010 Verity has now taken up her new post of Executive Director, Capacity and Infrastructure with the Skills Funding Agency.
