Mohamed Kaoud established Egylière for Tourism & Real Estate Investment and Egylière Travel in 2010 after his father Ahmed Kaoud transferred partial ownership of his company Makkah Group as part of a succession planning strategy. His main target is to develop the hospitality sector within the family businesses. Mohamed is 26 years old and has finished a two year management development with the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London and a management traineeship with the Oberoi Hotels.
In an effort to provide a skilled work force for Egypt and to contribute to the development of young talent, Mohamed Kaoud is exploring the possibility of establishing an educational institution in Egypt. Over recent months, Mohamed has been working with the University of Hertfordshire on establishing UH Campus in Egypt. It is his desire that this relationship could be developed further with the aid of government bodies hears in Egypt to construct an educational institution focusing on the market and industry needs that Egypt can be proud of. Mohamed is aware that strategic plans are already in place to develop higher education and he would like to explore the way in which his organization could support and add value to these plans.
