Mervyn Levin

Mervyn is Founding Director of Levering Ltd, a consultancy championing innovation and partnerships established in 2003, co-located in Asia and the UK. He has an extensive, influential network across digital content/media, telecoms, software and finance sectors in Europe and Asia, working with highly diverse organisations on policy, research and commercially, including education.

His public sector roles involve assessing funding competitions in Collaborative Research and Development for the UK Government’s Technology Strategy Board and overseeing a wide range of winning consortia bids. He is also an Evaluator and Expert for European Commission Programmes globally, including China and India, and an Advisory Committee Member for an EU funded project on ASEAN ICT cooperation. He is an Honorary Research Fellow at University of Sheffield and publishes in refereed journals. His private sector roles include representing UK digital media organisations in Asia and performing advisory and corporate diligence on Technology, Media and Telecoms for investors. He presents at government events, business conferences and universities in the UK and across Asia.
From 2002 to 2007, Mervyn was Head, Digital Content Policy in UK Government. Over the previous 20 years, he held senior global management positions at Reuters based in the UK, Latin America and Switzerland.
