Paul Bogle

Paul Bogle is the University Solicitor and Clerk to the Governing Body at Canterbury Christ Church University. He took up appointment in June 2005 just as Christ Church acquired full University title from the Privy Council, and is the institution’s first in-house lawyer. Paul read law at Bristol University before undertaking the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law and being called to the Bar in 1995. He completed pupillages in Chelmsford and then in London at the specialist Family Law Chambers, One Garden Court. Before coming to Canterbury he worked as an employed barrister with Essex County Council for eight years in a number of advisory and advocacy roles.
