Leslie has led SPA’s work on good practice in admissions to Part-time courses. He has also worked on admissions good practice in higher education in further education colleges, admissions policies, criminal convictions, feedback to unsuccessful applicants and issues surrounding the offer of admission, as well as contributing to SPA’s work of visits to HE providers and advice and guidance on a range of admission questions.
Leslie was formerly Assistant Registrar at the University of Bath responsible for undergraduate admissions, student recruitment and widening participation and before that led Bath's International Office. He was a member of the HELOA National Committee, the HE Advisory Team for the Welsh Baccalaureate, the Western Region Open College Network HE Advisory Group and other national and regional groups.
