Before joining Manipal Global, Mr Pai was at business consultancy firm Infosys, serving as its chief financial officer until 2006. He was a member of the Kelkar Committee, established by the Indian Ministry of Finance to reform direct taxes, and is currently a member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India and a trustee of the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation.
