Pete Wallis
Pete is the Senior Practitioner for Restorative Justice with Oxfordshire Youth Offending Service, and he has been a restorative practitioner since 2000. In 2008 Pete co-authored The Pocket Guide to Restorative Justice with Barbara Tudor, which is a practical guide for restorative justice practitioners. Pete also worked with 2 artists to create a Victim Empathy course entitled What Have I Done?, and in 2013 co-wrote the Youth Justice Board’s Restorative Justice Facilitator training with his colleague Eric Fast.
Pete and his manager Gordon Richardson established the charity SAFE! in 2011, which provides a specialist support service for young victims. His latest book is ‘Understanding Restorative Justice – How empathy can close the gap caused by crime’ is available from The Policy Press.
