Liz Aylott

Liz Aylott has been in Education since 2002, with a speciality in Human Relations, particularly Employment Relations and Law. Her previous non-teaching experience included working in industry, NHS and charitable sectors both in operational and HR roles. She has sat on Employment Tribunal since 2005.

Liz joined BPP as lecturer in 2013, and prior to that had been working in Higher Education provision in the Further Education Sector. Her research interests currently cross two main areas – the business environment (human resources and employment relations) and education. These include employee voice in the context of SMEs, changing retirement legislation, equality and improving the provision of learning and teaching for all students in the HE Sector. She has written for the CIPD and BPP publications. She has recently published two books on Employee Relations and Employment Law for Kogan Page.
