Georgina Perry
Georgina has over twenty years of experience in health service development and associated research, training and consultancy in both the UK and internationally.
Since 2003 she has been Service Manager for Open Doors www.opendoors.nhs.uk at Homerton University Hospital, one of the leading outreach clinical and case management services for sex workers in the UK. She is a board member for The United Kingdom Network of Sex Work Projects, and is recognised for her leadership, advocacy and pioneering approach to meeting the diverse range of biomedical/social/psychological needs of sex workers.
Georgina has delivered research, evaluation and technical consultancies in the HIV/AIDS/Sexual and Reproductive Health and Drug and Alcohol fields for UNFPA in Cambodia, UNICEF in Pakistan and numerous other health and development NGO’s in both S.E Asia and East Africa.
She Works regularly with Central Government, supporting the Home Office and Department of Health to review and address areas of health exclusion, sexual violence and access to criminal justice for sex workers.
