As Head of Innovation & Technology for Future Brilliance Afghanistan Organisation, Benjamin Phelan is responsible for developing the Digital Literacy Initiative. He brings 15 years of experience in educational media for web, broadcast, and interactive applications.

Previously, he served as CEO for streaming media internet start-up PlayItFWD, and founded Luminous Media, a boutique production company specializing in museum exhibitions and rich online media.

During his tenure as Director of Program Development for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, his award-winning primetime series and specials were broadcast on BBC-4, Bravo, Comcast, PBS, and HDNet.

He began his career as a programming and acquisitions executive, managing film curation an original production for the 12 premium cable movie networks of the Starz/Encore Entertainment Group.
