Linda joined Doncaster Council’s Early Years and Childcare Service in 2004 following 14 years in the Banking Sector. In October 2010 Linda was appointed as Project Manager for the 2 Year Old Pilot in Doncaster and following on from this took on the strategic lead for 3 and 4 Year Old Funding.

In September 2011 she developed and implemented 2 year old funding across all 21 Children’s Centres in Doncaster with Centres acting as a delivery arm for the programme. Linda then went on to develop a 2 Year Old Offer for all Looked After Children which has seen an increase in take up from 42% to 82% within the year.

Linda now has a key role in the implementation of the 2 Year Old Early Education Entitlement in Doncaster.
