Mitch Winehouse

 Mitch Winehouse
Mitch Winehouse was born and raised in London. Over the course of his life he has worked as a businessman, a salesman and a London cabbie. He is also a jazz singer and performs regularly with his quartet and Big Band.

In recent years, Mitch has campaigned to improve access to treatment for those suffering with addiction and also to raise awareness of issues relating to substance misuse.

He has also written a book, ‘Amy, My Daughter’, which is an account of his daughter’s life from his unique perspective, with all author proceeds donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation which he set up in her name.

Since Amy’s death, along with other family members, he devotes his time and energy into raising funds for the Foundation, which works to prevent the effects of drug and alcohol misuse on young people. It also supports, informs and inspires vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to help them reach their full potential.
