Dr Burrell has been working in the NHS for 14yrs, and as a Consultant Obstetrician for the past 3yrs. Her post graduate medical training was - SHO at John Radcliffe Oxford & Guys and St Thomas London, and Registrar training in Cambridge & East Anglia.

As the Obstetric Lead for Risk Management, she provides leadership to improve maternity services. She has done oral presentations at Risk Management Conferences at the RCOG, London and FIGO in Italy. She speaks regularly at Obstetrics & Gynaecology Conferences in Europe and does regular teaching sessions for the General Practitioners in Havering, London and will be running a workshop at the RCOG Career Fair.
