Sandra joined John Laing in 2010 as General Manager for the Hounslow contract, a 15-year partnership with the London Borough of Hounslow, the first of its kind in the country. Sandra is responsible for the management and development of the council’s Libraries, Parks and Cultural offer.

Sandra has had more than 20 years' experience in the public sector, working for a number of local authorities in the management of cultural services, including the London Borough of Hillingdon where she was the Head of Arts and Culture.

She has also been Executive Member on the National Committee of the Institute of Entertainment and Arts Management (10 years) and was a Board Member of SMART, the Audience Development and Arts Marketing Agency for Surrey for four years.
